The heartthrob of millions of hearts, Barun Sobti is finally back to the small screen, this time with a web-series, ‘Tanhaiyan’ co-starring Surbhi Jyoti.
A few days ago, the trailer was released and we were nothing else but impressed by it. And while, we keep waiting for the series to actually be telecast, this piece of news will certainly get all the Barun Sobti fans rejoicing.
Barun left television when he was at a peak with the show, ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?’ to pursue a career in films. His debut film released after a long while and it bombed at the box office.
However, discarding those odds, the ardent fans of Barun would be aware that he has also been a part of a movie called ‘You Are My Sunday’ co-starring Shahana Goswami and Vishal Malhotra.
The film, though yet to be commercially released has been doing the rounds of several film festivals including the biggest of ’em all;- Cannes Film Festival.
And the good news is that the film has won a special award at the BFI London Film Festival and Mumbai Film Festival.
