Balaji Telefilms’ popular show Kumkum Bhagya to follow another popular show Swaragini’s footsteps…
It seems after the Kidnapping track, the trend is going to revolve around the Partial Memory Loss drama on our daily soaps.
It started off with Colors’ popular show Swaragini, where the female protagonist, Swara (Helly Shah) suffered a partial memory loss and couldn’t recognize her husband Sanskar (Varun Kapoor). Now, on another hit show of Zee TV, Kumkum Bhagya, Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) will be seen following the same footsteps.
Wherein Abhi will have a partial memory loss of 3 years and he could only remember his girlfriend Tanu (Leena Jumani) and will not be able to recollect his wedding with Pragya (Sriti Jha).
A little birdie from the set informed, “The makers of Kumkum Bhagya were all set to introduce a leap in the show. However, the actors were not convinced and did not want to continue the show if it follows a leap. So to bring a new drama, they have introduced a partial memory loss track wherein Abhi has lost his 3 years’ memory.”
We contacted Shikha Singh AKA Aaliya, who has re-entered the show, she stated “I have come as a savior to Tanu and Nikhil in the show. And currently, the pregnancy drama would take time so I am not aware if the memory loss track could come in the picture or not.”
