Despite all the odds, the year 2020 is ending on a positive note for Muskaan Nancy Arora. The actress, who had featured in several shows like Thodi Khushi Thode Gham and Mata Ki Chowki, had an intimate Roka ceremony on December 10 with Prashant Motwani, a corporate official and actress Hansika Motwani’s brother.
Their respective families are in the process of finalising the wedding date, which is slated for next year.
Muskaan tells us, “We had originally planned to tie the knot in February, but our families decided to postpone it by a few months owing to the pandemic.”.
The couple met at a get-together last year and started liking each other. She shares, “Both of us were certain that we didn’t want to get into anything frivolous and wished to settle down if things worked out between us. We had decided that if things didn’t materialise, we would friend zone each other (laughs!). We gave our relationship time and went with the flow. He proposed marriage to me in March this year. It’s quite funny that on the following day, the nationwide lockdown was announced.”.
On the work front, the actress was last seen in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, which ended six years ago.
On being asked about her long break from television, she replied, “I plan to return to the small screen soon. My in-laws are quite cooperative and encouraging. They want me to work. It’s not that I was on a break. I was pursuing theatre and trying my luck in South films. I even shot for a film, which is stuck because of the pandemic.”.
