Ekta Kapoor’s much awaited reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay is soon to go on-air. There are three more names that are going to join the cast of the serial. The names include Prasad Mukherjee, Sumona Chakravarti and Kanupriya Pandit. Prasad will be playing the role of Prerna’s father. He is known for his roles in shows like Tere Liye, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, Rang Rasiya and many others. Sumona, who rose to fame with the Kapil Sharma show, will be essaying the role of Anurag’s sister Nivedita Basu. Sumona confirmed to DNA that she has been approached but nothing has been finalized yet. Nivedita’s role was earlier played by Poonam Narula. Kanupriya will essay the role of Prerna’s mom.
Arjun Aneja roped in for Applause Entertainment’s Marry Me, Stranger
Arjun Aneja, who has done TV shows like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Ishq Mein Marjawan etc, has probably got his first big career-defining role in Applause Entertainment’s upcoming series, Marry Me, Stranger, which has been adapted from author Novoneel Chakraborty’s The Stranger Trilogy.
