TV actress Niyati Fatnani, is fortunate that she was part of Star Plus show Nazar and is quite excited with the show returning in a movie format. In a chat with us Niyati spoke briefly about challenges she faced to play the role of Piya, her next projects and more.

How does it feel to have Nazar back on TV screen that too in a movie format?
For me Nazar is not just a show it’s a family and the day I got to know Nazar is going to be back in a movie format I was super excited and thrilled and it is going to be an amazing experience for both me and my fans.
Any point of time you were not convinced with a scene and thought it wasn’t required?
I felt that sometimes the scenes are not required because Nazar is a crisp show; there has been action drama everything.
Do you consider yourself fortunate to be part of Nazar?
Absolutely, I feel very lucky, Nazar has given me a chance as an actor and as a fan and I have quite a family now.
What’s next?
I’ll keep a surprise because I am not supposed to spill the details.
Challenges to play the role of Piya?
To play Piya required commitment, both physically and mentally , doing action in saree and kurta , becoming a ghost mermaid and even though I don’t know swimming I had to be confident and I thoroughly enjoyed my journey being Piya.
Are you content as an actor?
I always wanted to become an actor and I am very happy to entertain people and connect to them through my acting.
Are you fine with going bold on-screen?
Not yet, I am not ready to go bold on screen but I might get ready.
What kind of roles do you wish to play in the near future?
I am open to all kinds of roles as long as I am true to my art and the script and role is nice, I am open to playing all characters.
