Chandan Prabhakar and Rajeev Thakur are my friends and they were in Dubai at that time when they came across the article and got so disturbed that they couldn’t perform well. Thankfully, my family stays with me so they knew that I am safe and watching a movie in a theatre. The actress further added, “It all started when a reputed publication mistakenly used my picture on their article and later many followed them. After the news was spread, whenever I used to go out- to my gym, shoots or meetings- people used to feel shocked seeing me alive. I remember Karishma Tanna asked me when we had met , “You are alive?” I even tweeted from my account at that time to rectify the error but by that time I think they had changed the photo or removed the article.”

Sezal had also filed a police complaint when the incident happened. “It was like a mental harrasment for me. I went to BKC police station and filed a written complaint against the matter. No legal action was taken but they posted an apology article later,” concluded Sezal.
